Early Learning Centre solar panel installations

In line with our commitment to alternative energy solutions and lowering energy costs, solar PV panels will be installed at four Early Learning and Childrens' Centres across Stonnington.

This initiative will free up capital for other programs and insure against future energy cost increases.

Each centre will  benefit from the feed-in-tariffs of $0.11 per kW/hr when centres are closed over weekends and school holidays. The feed-in-tariff is represented as a credit on an electricity bill.

Solar PV Tier 1 panels (either Fonius or Solar Edge Inverters) will be installed at:

  • Phoenix Park Early Learning Centre
  • Armadale Early Learning Centre
  • Brookville Kindergarten
  • Stonnington Childrens' Centre
