Come and Try NetSetGo – introductory netball sessions

Join us for two free Come and Try sessions as part of the TeamSports4All (TS4A) Program and Grant. These sessions provide a fantastic opportunity for children aged 5 - 10 to experience netball in a fun and inclusive environment.

About NetSetGo

NetSetGo is Australia’s official introductory netball program, designed to teach the fundamentals of the sport while fostering teamwork and community connections. Participants are grouped based on experience.

Net: For beginners, focusing on fundamental skill development.
Set: For those with some experience, introducing match play concepts.

Each registered participant receives a NetSetGo t-shirt and ball, which they can use for training and at-home practice. After completing the program (6-12 months), players are encouraged to transition into community club teams.

Program costs (for full registration)

$250 per season (two school terms) or $125 per term

Annual Netball Victoria membership ($99) – includes participant insurance and a NetSetGo pack

Those eligible for Team Sport 4 All funding (have a current health care card and/or reside in government housing and/or are an asylum seeker) will have their seasonal fees paid.

On the day

Our NetSetGo Manager and Junior Qualified Coaches will run the sessions, with an association liaison available to answer any questions from parents and guardians.

Stonnington City Netball Association (SCNA) is the next phase of evolution for netball in Stonnington.

We are based at Stonnington Sports Centre, East Malvern, and also use Orrong Romanis Reserve in Prahran for training and holiday and development programs.

We are affiliated with the Hawks Netball Club (Victorian Netball League - VNL) and support the full gamut of netball from entry level, local community competitions to representative netball programs through to the elite level Victorian Netball League.

With over 1600 registered players, SCNA provides fun, friendly and inclusive netball competitions in the city of Stonnington. We currently offer Junior, Mixed, Women’s Open and Walking netball competitions as well as the entry level program of NetSetGo. We run two Seasons a year: Feb - June and July - November. We hope to introduce an All Abilities netball program in the near future.

We offer a Representative Program for players looking to extend their netball and we run teams in 11U, 13U, 15U, 17U & Open.
