Come and Try Lacrosse – free introductory sessions

Chadstone Lacrosse Club is offering free lacrosse sessions as part of the Active Stonnington Come and Try program. These sessions provide a fun and inclusive opportunity for children to experience lacrosse, develop new skills, and stay active.

Why try lacrosse?

• Fitness & Coordination – Improve agility, reflexes, and overall athletic ability
• Skill Development – Learn from accredited coaches with Working With Children Checks
• Teamwork & Fun – A great way to make new friends while staying active.

What’s included?

• Free sessions – No cost to participate
• All equipment provided – Just bring suitable athletic clothing and sneakers or studded shoes

Session details

Dates: Every Thursday (5:30 PM – 7:00 PM) and Saturday (10:00 AM – 11:30 AM) until 19 April 2025

Once the season begins, playing and training is located at Percy Treyvaud fields and Stonnington Sports Centre change rooms.

Eligibility for Free Play

If you have a healthcare card, live in public housing, have asylum seeker or refugee status, you may be eligible for free lacrosse participation all season.
