Membership suspensions
The minimum suspension ('freeze’) period is three days for all memberships, including medical suspensions.
Direct debit members receive up to 28 days of freeze a year at no cost. After 28 days you can suspend membership for 35 cents per day for up to 182 days.
In addition to the 28 free days, you can request a medical suspension if you have a valid medical certificate. Medical suspensions can be applied for a period in the past if your medical certificate covers those dates.
Upfront members receive 28 days of suspension per year at no cost.
You can suspend your membership online by logging into your account. For medical suspensions, submit your medical certificate online.
Membership cancellation
If you wish to cancel your Active direct debit membership, submit your cancellation request online.
Your membership will be cancelled after the remainder of the scheduled fortnight time has been completed.
You will need to pay a joining fee if you re-join in the future.
