Facilitated by Duldig's sculptor-in-residence, Stefan Damschke, this class lets you roll up your sleeves and engage with Duldig Studio in a new way. You will get hands-on experience while learning about sculpture from a creative practitioner. Let your creativity flow as you master how to mould and shape your clay into unique pieces to take home.

Learn hand-building sculpture techniques in this workshop designed for adults and feel inspired by the work of the Duldig Studio Ceramic collection.

This is a flexible workshop suitable for beginners looking to build a foundation as well as more experienced sculptors wishing to develop their techniques. Learn about key concepts including balance and structure which will be indispensable for your further sculptural journey.

Stefan Damschke worked with Karl Duldig, as student and then as his assistant from 1976-86, and has been curator and sculpture teacher at Duldig Studio since 1999. He studied a Bachelor of Arts (Ceramic Design) at Monash University, and Bachelor of Arts (Literary Studies & Philosophy/History of Ideas) Deakin University.

Includes: tuition, all materials and afternoon tea.
