Ready, set, recycle!

Join us for a morning dedicated to the wonderful world of recycling with two free childrens activities! No booking needed, you can choose to come along to both, or just one, of the activities.

Storytime with a recycling truck  

Monday 7 April 10.30-11:30 am  

Children aged three to eight will meet one of our much-loved recycling truck drivers and their truck! 

• Learn how to make a difference by using bins correctly.  

• Enjoy stories and songs in the children’s area. 

• Check out a real recycling truck up close! 

• This free event is part of our autumn school holiday program. 

Waste Warriors: pop-up kids planting and craft activity 

11:30 am-12:30 pm Monday 7 April  

• Meet a City of Stonnington waste expert to learn what happens to your waste after it is collected by the truck.  

• Colour in and fold up a mini-cardboard truck to take home. 

• Plant some seeds in compost made from our food and green waste.
