Pre-accredited Literacy & Numeracy for Early Childcare Level 1

The Pre-Accredited LN Early Childhood program is a foundational course designed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge to confidently enroll in TAFE, begin a Certificate III Traineeship in Early Childhood Education & Care, or advance their pre-accredited studies by enrolling in the Early Childhood Education and Care: Level 2.

This program provides a supportive environment where learners gain vocationally relevant skills through practical, hands-on learning activities.

Students will learn in a simulated day care setting, covering child care theory, hands-on practical skills, literacy, numeracy, and critical employability skills.

Topics covered: Workplace routines OHS and safety Policies and procedures Health and wellbeing Cultural awareness Administration * Effective communication

Program length: 80 hours

Upon completing this course, students can continue their studies in the Early Childhood Education and Care: Level 2 at Prahran Place.

Learning materials and study requirements are tailored for learners at Level 1 of the Australian Core Skills Framework.
