MINIMAL: Less is More, Nothing is Something

MINIMAL_Banner_Web

A rare opportunity to experience two exhibitions from two collections, exploring the same theme providing an expansive and rich insight into the world of MINIMAL.

"Less is More, Nothing is Something" is an opportunity to discover what a seemingly blank canvas can reveal. Illustrated by works in the JAHM collection this is a serene and beautiful exhibition. As always, you will be taken on a journey of discovery. A concurrent exhibition "Three Threads of Abstraction" in the apartment will feature a collection of architect, academic and collector, Jarrod Haberfield’s abstract works.

Abstraction is one of the key innovations in art that occurred in the 20th Century (along with collage and the ready-made). Here, we explore three of the many threads that comprise abstraction – minimalism geometric abstraction and mark making. The works will ask you to look closely, think deeply and perhaps see differently.
