Have you been learning English for years but want to improve your speaking and listening skills?  Do you worry about not being able to understand native speakers? Do you have trouble understanding people on the phone?  Would you like to speak more natural, casual English?  

This intermediate-level conversation group is for you!

We’ll use real-world reading material and videos to increase vocabulary, particularly spoken language used in Australia. This is not a grammar class! We focus on listening, speaking and pronunciation skills so that you can grow in confidence in real-life, everyday situations. 

Meet people from different backgrounds, make new friends and practice speaking English in a supportive and relaxed environment.

*This class is not suitable for beginners. Learners need to have completed at least two years of English language tuition or have 'real life' English speaking experiences. 

This is also a great opportunity to meet people from all backgrounds and walks of life, make new friends and practice speaking English in a supportive and happy environment.

This class follows on from our English Language for Beginners 1 class and is great for those who have basic English Language Skills and want to become more confident in spoken English.

This course is a Learn Local course. Learn Local (ACFE)-funded places are for those wishing to upskill, try for a new career, return to study or volunteer regardless of prior training or employment status. Contact us to find out if you are eligible for a funded place.
