Creative Writing: morning classes

Everyone has a story. Everyone has imagination. Begin your writing, build confidence, meet like minded people with our award wining author and tutor Murray Middleton.

From the foundations of inspiration, narrative, character and place to rhythm, breadth and purpose, each student will be encouraged to explore their creative potential on page.

This session provides an introduction to our 9 week creative writing program.

• Inspiration and ideas that compel us to write
• Short stories and their structure, form and function
• Character depth and arc; writing realistic dialogue
• Poetry of place, inner worlds in relation to environment
• Writing prompts for stimulating the imagination and silencing the inner critic.

This course is a learn local (ACFE) funded course, perfect for those looking to upskill, start a new career, return to study, or volunteer, regardless of prior training or employment status.
