Build your repair skills and confidence at our new Roving Repair workshops!

City of Stonnington is working with Let Me Be Frank to deliver our new Roving Repair campaign.

Our Roving Repair workshops give you access to repairers of textiles, wood, crockery, jewellery and other small items and show you how to repair beloved items instead of throwing them away.

Book your spot now at one or all of the workshops:

Workshops are free and bookings are essential. Register your attendance above and let us know what item you will bring, so our repairers can be prepared!

Wherever possible repairs will be conducted for free, with basic materials being provided. In some instances, you may be advised to purchase materials or parts and bring your item back to a subsequent event. Read house rules and more detailed information here.

If you don’t have anything that needs repair, but you have a knack for fixing things consider joining our Roving Repair team as a volunteer repairer. Complete the EOI form today!

These workshops reduce waste, save money and help keep beloved items in circulation for longer, moving us closer to a circular economy and reducing waste sent to landfill.

For further information on our Towards a circular economy: Future waste strategy 2022-2025 or to register your interest in becoming a roving repairer volunteer, contact our Waste Education Officer at council@stonnington.vic.gov.au
