We’re delighted to welcome Jamila Rizvi—best-selling author, podcast host, and gender equality advocate—as our inspiring keynote speaker for the morning.

Jamila Rizvi is a best-selling author, columnist for The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald, and co-host of The Briefing news podcast. She was formerly Editor-in-Chief of the Mamamia Women's Network, where she played a key role in expanding it into Australia’s largest independent women’s media group.

A prominent media commentator and sought-after public speaker, Jamila has advised the Australian Government on gender equality, media, and employment. She is currently the Deputy Managing Director of Future Women (FW), a media and training organization dedicated to advancing gender equality in Australian workplaces. FW helps women overcome barriers to employment and supports emerging leaders in progressing their careers.

Recognized as one of the Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence and a 2020 Women & Leadership Australia award winner, Jamila is a passionate advocate for gender equality, media, and leadership.
