Receiving your rates notice

Council offers a range of options on how you can receive and pay your rate notices. This includes Payreq or BPAY View, which allows you to receive your rates notices electronically.

Enjoy the convenience of viewing, receiving and printing your Rates Notices via email.

  • Check your Notices anytime and print, save or email.
  • View your Annual Rates Notices - current and copy rate notices from previous years 2023/2024, 2022/2023, 2021/2022, 2020/2021, 2019/2020 and 2018/2019.

Create Payreq MyBills account

Log in to register

Click ‘Add New Biller’ and register for City of Stonnington (20198).

Select email option

Select 'to register for Email'.

Enter requested information

Refer to your Stonnington rates notice to enter the required information, including the email address you'd like your rates notice delivered to.

If you are a property manager, we can provide digital Council rates notices to eliminate scanning and manual data entry.

Simply set up a profile with our email software provider, Payreq, and we can send bill data for all your managed properties.

You can organise to have your Council rates delivered directly to your accounts receivable software - Xero, MYOB and many more.

Bpay View

Information on receiving your rates notices via BPAY View

BPAY offers a service called BPAY View, which lets you manage your bills through the online bank account you use to pay them.

Once you set up BPAY View, your bank then sends you a reminder about your rates by email, SMS or through its own messaging system.

Log into your online banking account

Not all banks offer BPAY View - you can find out if yours does on the BPAY website.

Look for the BPAY View or View Bills section

Locate to the BPAY View or View Bills section.

Register your bill

Complete the registration.
