C320ston – Toorak, Armadale and Kooyong Heritage Review

Amendment C320ston proposes to amend the Stonnington Planning Scheme to implement the findings of the Toorak, Kooyong and Armadale Heritage Reviews.

The amendment will:

  • Apply the Heritage Overlay to sixteen (16) new individually significant places, nine (9) new heritage precincts and an extension to one (1) existing heritage precinct.
  • Make changes to a number of existing precincts. Specifically, the removal of places, changing of gradings, addition of Heritage Overlay controls, and changes to names and addresses where considered necessary.
  • Make changes to a number of existing individual places. Specifically, the addition and revision of Heritage Overlay controls, and changes to names and addresses where considered necessary.
  • Produce citations for sixteen (16) new individually significant places, nine (9) new heritage precincts and an extension to one (1) existing heritage precinct and update citations for fifty-one (51) existing individual places and eleven (11) existing precincts.
  • Remove the Neighbourhood Character Overlay (NCO5) from places on Bailey Avenue and Valentine Grove, Armadale.

Current status: Adopted

At its meeting on 18 December 2023, Council adopted Amendment C320ston. Council has submitted the Amendment to the Minister for Planning for final approval.
