All The Rage: An evening with Paulie Stewart

paulie.png

Rock legend and activist Paulie Stewart OAM bares all as he talks about his memoir, All The Rage. With Claire Halliday.

Paulie will discuss his music and activism and perform a special live set.

All The Rage explores how Paulie channelled his anger from the murder of his brother, one of the Balibo Five, into the infamous Painters & Dockers band that put the Australian music scene on notice.

From being formed with the intention of a one-time performance to pay a friend’s parking fine, Painters & Dockers became a 40-year-long punk rock band with a cult following that was inducted into The Age’s Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2012.

Paulie's story transcends music and activism and is full of laugh-out-loud anecdotes and encounters with major stars, including Billy Idol, Keith Richards, Johnny Rotten, the Wiggles, Midnight Oil, Yothu Yindi and Nick Cave.

Recommended for adult audiences. Bookings are required for every attendee.

Book sales will be available at this event.
