Book club sets are now available to borrow

Do you belong to a book club but are stuck on what to read as a group? We can help!
We’re trialling a new collection of Book Club Sets designed to support local book clubs. Each set comes in its own easy-to-carry bag, contains twelve copies of a must-read title and discussion notes prepared by our expert librarians.
Book Club Sets:
- have a 6 week loan period
- can be searched and reserved via the library catalogue and borrowed by library members
- can be collected from and returned to any of our libraries during opening hours.
The following titles are available as Book Club Sets. Each title has been handpicked by our expert librarians for its readability and guaranteed to stimulate discussion at your next book club get-together.

- The In-between by Christos Tsiolkas

- Saltblood by Francesca De Tores
- Darling Girls by Sally Hepworth
How it works
- Place a reservation request on the book club set of your choice.
- Pick up the book club set when you receive notification that it is available.
- Return the complete book club set by the due date. You can also extend your loan if there isn’t a reservation on it.
