You can promote your community event on our Stonnington events page

Suitable community events

We list community events that are

  • within Stonnington
  • free or low cost
  • open to the public
  • submitted by the organiser or approved delegate
  • not for profit, community run, arts, family-friendly or otherwise of interest to our community (including markets, expos and workshops)

All event listing submissions will be reviewed and may be edited to meet City of Stonnington’s standards. Allow 5 business days for submissions to be reviewed.

While we strive to publish all suitable community events, please understand that we may not be able to accommodate every request.

Publication of an event is not an endorsement. We may decline or remove any listing at any time.

Unsuitable events

We do not promote listings about:

  • religious or political events
  • business openings, specials, products or services. You can submit your business for listing on our Find a local business directory.

Information to include in your event listing

  • Cost
  • Event location
  • Contact details to display on website
  • URLs for further information and bookings
  • At least one image that you have permission to use. The ideal properties are: 
    • Image format: JPEG or PNG
    • File size: Up to 500 KB
    • Image size: 800 x 500 pixels
