Located along the western edge of the park next to Chadstone Road, the Percy Treyvaud Memorial Park Wetlands play an important role maintaining our urban landscape.
The wetlands are made up of a series of treatment and storage ponds which clean and filter stormwater before it enters Gardiners Creek. As a permanent body of water, the wetlands also serve a cooling function for the local environment.
The wetlands are home to pobblebonk frogs and several species of native ducks, as well as providing food and refuge for other aquatic birds.
