Orrong Park Tennis Centre

February 2022 - Orrong Park multi-courts opening

Orrong Park Tennis Centre will re-open to tennis and netball from 27 February, after a 16-month rebuild.

The old tennis courts closed in late-2021 for a full redevelopment and transform them into a multi-court facility accommodating five tennis and five netball courts. Originally slated for a mid‑2022 return, the project was unavoidably delayed, and the construction timeline pushed back to resolve latent conditions discovered during the excavation of the old courts.

To complement the new multi-courts we’ve upgraded the drainage, added new perimeter fencing and new energy-efficient LED lighting – creating a contemporary facility that will be enjoyed by club members and the community for many years to come.

The redevelopment of the courts was jointly funded by the City of Stonnington and Victorian Government.
