Basil Street Park, on a parcel of land purchased from the Malvern East RSL, has delivered a delightful local park that features:

- Screen planting
- Informal pétanque or boules facilities
- Bench seating
- Picnic setting
- Footpaths and paved areas
- Ping pong table
The park opened in April 2024 and will remain until a long term plan for the land is developed, as part of the larger Gardiners Creek (Kooyongkoot) master plan.
