Avalon Centre

Avalon is a small charity with the aim to meet unmet needs. The weekly Drop-In welcomes everyone and provides an opportunity to have a cuppa, join in activities, have a chat and make new friends. The Day with Avalon weekly trips is popular with those who want to go out and about. Avalon also runs the Homeless Clothes and Bedding Distribution, providing much-needed support to the most vulnerable in the community.

Avalon offers help to the homeless, people with disabilities or mental health issues, Asylum seekers and anyone who requires support. Avalon's mission statement is simply "to help where we can, when we can and in whatever way we can"

Avalon is run entirely by volunteers. We always welcome new volunteers to help us with our quest.
