Visual arts opportunities
To support and nurture emerging artists, established artists and street artists we offer opportunities to showcase works at events and in our public spaces.
We also support artists through our annual Arts and Culture grants program.

Glow Winter Arts Festival
Expressions of interest from experienced professional and emerging installation artists are invited each year for our annual Glow Winter Arts Festival.
Working with our Festivals and Events team, successful applicants are commissioned to design, develop, install and dismantle large-scale, site-specific, temporary illuminated installations.
Expressions of interest
The call for expressions of interest will be advertised on our Glow Winter Arts Festival website.
Frameworks: Public Street Art Mural Program
Expressions of Interest for the Frameworks: Public Street Art Mural Program have now closed.
Successful applicants will be notified by 1 September 2023, with murals to be completed before 1 June 2024.
Frameworks: A Public Street Art Mural Program delivers formal street art and mural installations that celebrate all artists and creatives, and create moments of beauty for all to inspire, inform, connect with, and enjoy. Local artists are encouraged to develop and complete a large-scale wall mural in the community, using Stonnington as a canvas.
This exciting initiative enlivens shared public spaces, enhances streetscapes and beautifies buildings being redeveloped.
