In 2024, we will be creating a new park at 15 Izett Street, Prahran, opposite Prahran Square.
These works will see the vacant site transformed into a high-quality urban park with new paving, seating and seating walls, extensive garden beds and tree planting, lawn areas and new public lighting and decorative lighting.
As part of the project, we will be upgrading the drainage system in the northern half of the laneway behind the park. The drainage works are expected to take around four weeks, from 2 to 30 August, during which time the northern half of the laneway will be closed to all vehicle traffic.
We recognise works of this nature will cause some inconvenience. Every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum and we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

Consultation
In April 2024, we invited community feedback on the draft concept design for Izett Street park.
What we heard informed refinements to finalise the design.
