Darling Gardens light replacement

In September 2021, works will be completed to replace four park lights at Darling Gardens in South Yarra.

The lights being replaced are no longer functional, and wiring to the poles needs to be replaced.

We are replacing the existing lights with 'smart' lanterns that offer the following benefits:

• Gives remote access to lights
• Allows configuration of lighting levels
• Sends a notification if the light fails or maintenance is required 

Scope of works

• Open cut trench for new underground electrical supply
• Replace lanterns on four lighting poles
• Paint lighting poles
• Site reinstatement

Work signage will be located within the park, guiding park users away from the work area.
