Charles Street, Prahran - road reconstruction

76 Charles street perspective.jpg

The City of Stonnington is reconstructing Charles Street, Prahran from Commercial Road to Greville Street.

Works will include reconstruction of the existing road pavement, new footpaths, bluestone kerb and channel and new trees.

The road width will be narrowed slightly to accommodate wider footpaths and the existing trees will be replaced by new trees on both sides of the street.

These works reflect our ongoing commitment to providing the community a safe and functional road and drainage network across the city.

We recognise works of this nature may cause some inconvenience, and thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
