I'm Samantha Choudhury, your Orrong Ward Councillor.
I grew up in Prahran and now raising my own family here. It is truly home for me.I’ve seen the neighbourhood grow and change over the last few decades and can say it’s one of the most diverse, walkable and vibrant places to live in Melbourne.
My focus for the next four years is to advocate for more open spaces, high quality pedestrian connections to continue to make it safe and walkable for people especially families with children. I want to ensure we continue to have high quality vibrant neighbourhoods with excellent amenity as our city grows.
My vision for Stonnington is a welcoming, socio-economic and culturally diverse community where everybody is accepted and feels welcome.
I’m looking forward to working with my fellow councillors and the community to make Stonnington the most liveable and equitable municipality in Melbourne.
