I’m Meghan Hopper, your Como Ward Councillor.
Como ward covers parts of South Yarra and Toorak, and this is where I live with my husband and our adopted cat. I’m proud to be part of a Council with so much collective experience, working together to represent our sustainable, diverse and creative Stonnington community.
I’ve previously served as a Mayor and Councillor in Melbourne’s inner-north. I’m also an experienced local government manager, board director and academic.
As your Councillor my top priority is a safe and inclusive community with facilities, open spaces and services that bring people together.
I’ll bring an experienced voice to Council’s advocacy in response to planning and population reforms and will work hard to protect our distinctive neighbourhood character and heritage.
