New electoral structure from October 2024

There is a new electoral structure for the City of Stonnington and it applies from October 2024. 

Under the Local Government Act 2020. Stonnington must now have a single-councillor ward electoral structure.

City of Stonnington has a nine single-councillor ward structure – nine wards, with one councillor per ward.

The new ward structure applies for the October 2024 election.  Until then, there is no change to the current electoral structure of three Councillors in each of the three wards.  For further information on the current Council and the ward structure in place until the October election, visit Mayor and Councillors.
